Marija Gimbutas
Marija Gimbutas’s work as an archeologist has had a big
influence on my thinking and artistic production. The following article by
Charlene Spretnak is a timely observation on some of the varying responses to
Gimbutas’s oeuvre and the vagaries of academia.
