White, stoneware clay; 2 piece molds, altered shape.
Ceramic piece made around 2008 or 2009. It was first
raku fired with a copper carbonate heavy glaze. As an experiment, it was placed in a wood firing just outside of
fire box inside kiln. It cracked from the intense heat and resulted in
the current surface. It was put through 2 more low temperature firings to burn
off some of the carbon from the reduction of the wood firing (2016). Interior--cone 10 glaze.
