A couple of days before my departure I was able to participate in a raku firing with one of the ladies of the Antinori Studio-Lyn Durant.
Lyn's work: slab constructed bottle forms. She also makes small pieces/forms for creating jewellery.
I fired an egg: blue crackle glaze.

Destructive and creative forces are constantly at work. The law of balance is everywhere. Destructive forces fertilize the creative force.
